Hi i'm just wondering if there is such thing as a raw diet for chooks? My greyhound is currently on a raw diet and i was wondering when i get some chooks soon if i could have them on a raw diet too because i would like them to be healthy and natural. I know they like weeds, bugs and stuff butt i was wondering what else. I'd need to be able to give them enough calcium and protein to lay good eggs. Could if feed them RAW meat like i give my dogs (raw chicken, beef, lamb, sheep hearts, green tripe, raw sardines, livers, beef cheek, ect. Also maybe brisket bones broken into small pieces, natural yoghurt, veges/fruit, egg (cooked for them so they won't eat their eggs), oats, rice, weetbix sometimes and cheese, supplemented with coconut oil, fish oil, kelp/alfalfa powder, natural honey and peanut butter. Would that diet be good? as well as bugs, grass and weeds of course.
