Rcom Incubators, anybody have experience with these?

I specifically want to hear what your personal experience was and which model you used. I am thinking of purchasing a small, table top incubator and want something that is ,more or less, set it and forget it

I've recently gotten a r-com 20 from a friend who is getting out of chickens & hatching. I've got my 1st hatch in it now going, so I can't speak to how it does other than my friend loved it & had great success. I'm not loving the universal tray, so I am going to upgrade to the better tray that holds the 20 eggs independently. I do love the fact that I can adjust the humidity. My other incubator is a Brinsea mini adv - I'm always guessing about the humidity (even with a hygrometer, as those are best estimates).

The downside is that it isn't as easy to clean as my Brinsea. It's not terrible & it does come apart nicely. It's big but holds 20 eggs & will sit on a table nicely. I wish there was some way to turn off/reduce the volume on the turning alert. It's a silly little song alert that is a little loud. No big deal except that it drives my cats crazy & in the middle of the night they go insane.

I have 1.5 weeks before my BCM eggs hatch - will let you know how it does with that as I incubate/hatch all together & don't move anywhere else. It is basically set/forget. You do have to manually turn off the turning feature at lockdown & adjust the humidity - but it is super easy to do from the front controls. Adding water is very easy as the inlet is on the front - no need to open anything & disrupt the humidity inside. So for me, the cons are minor compared to the pros. I got mine used from a friend at an amazing deal. If I were buying new it would be a hard decision between a Brinsea vs r-com & I might have to look at the pro version.
