Re-growing grass in my run

I have two separate pens, so yes, I would remove the chickens before seeding.

im thinking of trying to grow so proso seeds from murry mcmurry in the run and then letting the hens eat it and then grow it over again.
any one tried this stuff?

I agree with the person who said that you can regrow it, but they will trash it again. I do keep grass in my run, but only because it's very large AND they are only in their run about half the time, as I let them out most of the time when I'm home. If supervised free ranging is an option for you, you might give it a try...
