And we're all a bit sad this morning. The 5 hens keep giving the "I'm lost!" call, even though they are all together.
Despite reading lots of articles about taming an aggressive roo, we decided it best just to let him move on to another home that has more experience and no small children around. 10 Acre free-range organic farm with 5 ladies of the same breed waiting for him. I can't imagine a better place! They plan on making some baby chicks with him and the girls-in-wainting, so perhaps in a year we can have "daughter of Ike" instead
