Re-homing 3 month old ducks!?!?! help please

Try to appeal with your landlord if they allow birds like parrots and cockatiels. Ducks don't bite, don't chew, don't spray, don't shed, and their poop is easier to clean up than most traditional pet birds. If you have males they're even quieter than other pet birds. Having been a landlord and a tenant I'd defenitly allow ducks over parrots or rabbits or ferrets or cats. All 4 are much more destructive.

If you've got no luck on craigslist, or ebay classifieds or BYC, print up a couple flyers and stick them on some bulletin boards at some feed stores and you should get the right kind of people knocking on your door.

I'm sorry to see some of the responses you've gotten - folks, please give the OP the benefit of the doubt that they want to do the right thing by their ducks.

It's great that you're looking here for some options/ideas! I would most definitely find your state thread on BYC and see if you can find someone with a good home who is willing to take them. I'm sorry your situation has changed, and I hope you are able to find a good home for them.

I would also like to know what state you are in. I am in Indiana and am very willing to take in your babies. We have adopted 3 so far and would love to have more.

Hi, slink! You may want to send belia a PM (private message) - if you hover over her user ID on the left, you will see an option "send PM" - she (assuming "she") will get an e-mail alert that she has a private message waiting for her here on BYC.

Ok ppl, back off. How does 1 questions mean it's ok to attack this person. I feel your pain. I have 1 duck who I have thought about "rehoming" or saddly eating her. She quacks all day and night. I think she is a runner. My two Campbell's are totally ok and quiet. My other male runner is my favorite. Such a sweet soul. Do what you gotta do!
