Re-homing a chicken

Hello,

I have 7 chickens and 1 of them (Ms. Frizzle) is a cute little black cochin bantam frizzle hen. She lays decently sized eggs is very sweet but unfortunately she is extremely noisy. She seems to be the loudest before laying an egg as if she wants everyone to know she is about to lay. Because my coop is in the backyard my neighbors have started to complain about her. As such, has anyone had experience re homing a chicken? I'm not sure how to go about finding her a good new home. Thank you for any information!

Click on the 'forums' tab at the top of the page, scroll down to 'buy-sell-trade" and there are several threads, including one for free rehoming.
Most local feed stores also have bulletin boards where people can post notices of animals for sale or needing homes.

In addition to the above recommendations you can check Facebook for local poultry groups you can join and post her there.

Thanks for the responses! Didn't notice a re-homing section so appreciate the help! I am in San Jose, CA but spend a weekend/ month in LA so could re-home Ms. Frizzle around either area.
