Ok, I am having troubles with this too. I have my photo resized through imageshack, it is 100x75, but when I try to upload it doesn't do anything. This is the photo.

mothergoose, I loaded it for you. When you tried it, did you notice that you got an error that the file size was too big?

For some reason when imageshack resized it the image was the right dimiention, but the file size was still 48 kb. This is SUPER BIG for such a tiny little picture. I'm not sure how / why they would keep the image so monster big, but I used Irfanview and saved it as a gif image and it made it a tiny little 8 kb.

(by the way, having a size limit on the avatars keeps this forum screamin' fast)

The individual photo Galleries that we had when Garm hosted the site were pretty cool, but if memory serves, I had a lot of senior moments while trying to figure out how to load my pics and do the page layouts. Duh! But once I finally got the pages all set it looked good and was a fun, non-commercial, way to share pics.

I had pics there of my Welsh Harlequin ducks (lots of byc friends got their eggs to hatch) and my RIR/leghorn cross cockerel named "Safeway". I hatched him from an egg from..... you guessed it..... Safeway grocery store!! Gotta love those fresh fertile brown eggs. Who would have thought that one would actually hatch?

I remember when Chel told me that story (about Safeway) when I first got chickens and didn't know a thing about them... it was the most amazing thing I ever heard!!! Hatching an egg from Safeway... just crazy.

Chel, I gotta have you write that up in an article with some pictures to post on the site!

Not happening for me either. Resized this photo and tried to post but each time it says that I have not selected a file to upload when there is clearly stuff written in the box! I could go down and wake up my teenager to help her poor inept mother but wondered if you could give it a try........Thank you so much.
