My friend has two bronze turkeys. Her Male has been loosing feathers on top of his back for the last couple of weeks. Today I had to go over there and feed for her. It is definitely
way worse. Also I noticed on his back, close to the neck, he has some type of growth that the only way I can describe it is to say it looks like a big huck of jelly? Today I noticed that he is also going bald on stomach or underneath him or whatever. I also noticed that now some of the chickens are starting to lose their feathers as well. That turkey looks pretty rough actually.
I did noticed that he had a problem walking way before this "losing of feathers", etc., started. It seemed like he was always stuck with his feathers open. What could this be, and what could be causing it? Any ideas?
