Lighting is for pushing the birds for max production, I'd rather let them be chickens, I'm not supplying the grocery stores, if you read further you can also force molting. Why bother.

Thanks for all the info. I'll save my egg coupons for when patience runs thin and then buy some with the hope of finding an egg.
By fall I figure to have this sight memorized. Problem is I keep finding new situations you guys come up with that I never even thought about.
