Reading

I love reading but I don't do it much nowadays (other than the Bible which I am on a reading plan for). I mainly listen to audio books nowadays. I don't think I could name a favorite book as there are several series I enjoy, namely the warrior cats saga, the pendragon series, cirque du freak (which is an actually good series about vampires), the chronicles of narnia (favorite book of that series is the voyage of the dawn treader), the inheritance cycle (current dog Saphira is actually named after the dragon in that series of the same name, it suits her) and individual books I enjoyed include and then there were none, call of the wild, the snow queen, at the back of the north wind and many others. I am currently going through the audio book for blood meridian which has been an interesting experience. That book is absolutely not for the faint of heart, I normally am not a fan of westerns but I can appreciate that they don't romanticize it or make it sound glamorous. There are no morally good characters in the book, just violent people surviving in a violent place during a violent time
