Ready for cold weather?

We put our 6 week chicks outside for a couple of days, and they have done well. I'm curious how cold they'll be able to tolerate. Do they look fully feathered? We are pretty new at this! The lows have been in the 40s at night, and they've been fine, but I think it will get down into the 20s this weekend. Should we bring them in or put a heater out there?

You should put a heat lamp/heater in there. if it gets too hot for them they will move away from it

Oh sorry, I see they are 6 weeks old. I don't think you need to add heat. They are fully feathered. They will huddle together and keep each other warm.

They are fine without heat. At that age they should be fine down into the single digits.
