Ready for coop?

These little girls are 7 weeks old. They have been in an unheated garage in 40 degree weather.. i have included the weather for the next week.. i want to put them in their coop permenantly. To me, they are fully feathered enough to go but am hesitant because of the few nights bad weather. I really believe they are miserable due to the reduced space in their garage residence.. i know i can food / water in coop during day till they are used to coop but should i take both out at night..

Based on the photo, they are fully feathered and should do fine. The unheated garage was a good transition for them. I'll be moving my six Shetland Hen chicks that were hatched on 11/7/2022 to their coop this weekend.

As long as the coop isn’t drafty they will be just fine.

They are well-feathered and should be find in a draft-free, but well-ventilated coop.

You could give them a huddle box to sleep in if they choose too (though I have to admit that mine never actually DO sleep in the huddle box even though I always have one available from the brooder to the age of perching).

Thank you all for your answers and reassurance... i moved them into their coop.. i also moved the 4 week olds out to garage to start their acclimation !
