(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Interacting with them, learning about their care, passing the information to my kids as well

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I love to grow things! I have many cacti and other various plants.

Hi, welcome! They do grow fast! We usually do two totes and put no more than six in a tote, for 9 chicks you could divide them 4 in one tote and 5 in the other. At 3 weeks we move them to an outdoor brooder and at 5 to 8 weeks they go in the adult hen house. Practicalky grown-ups by then, lol! Enjoy your flock and make yourself at home here. We're here to help! :highfive:
