ready for the coop?

So, here are the temps this upcoming week or so.... Im really nervous to put my chickies outside!!! They are about 7-8 weeks, and I think almost fully feathered. We have 4 bantam silkies, and 2 bantam brahmas.... Think they will be fine at night in the 30-40s? Maybe put the sweeter heater with them?

If they are fully feathered they should be fine if your coop is not drafty. Is it not possible so send them out with a heat source?

We have 11 one year old chickens, and we have not integrated them quite yet. They are in the coop so I want to move the babies to our back screened in porch to a dog kennel/igloo…. They are currently in our kitchen!!! Lol I can put the heat lamp and or the sweeter heater radiant heat thingy out there with them. I have just never had silkies before and I have heard that they are sensitive to the cold!

My 6 weekers are outside when the weather was in the teens. Yours will be fine as long as you have weaned them off of heat.
