ready or not... we're expecting!!! UPDATE!! with pic!

kim- they are probably preggy pops, my sister swears by them too, i already ordered some. and kelly- i doubt they will give me zofran, my sickness is not that bad, that medicine is usually only for chemo patients, and it costs an arm and a leg. my insurance doesnt cover it for off label use, so 15 pills costs like $415. i try to eat crackers and stuff, its just yucky. i will have to ask for some motion sickness medicine for our flight next week, i doubt you can take dramamine... but hooray for for (maybe) seeing peanut!

Zofran is prescribed all the time for morning sickness and really isn't that expensive...I guess it depends on how sick you feel as to how you feel about the cost. My doctor prescribed it for me when I had a bad stomach virus and the Phenergan wasn't working...it was like a miracle drug!

did your insurance cover it? thats just what i was told by my insurance, and i found this on a cancer website

The one major drawback to Zofran is that it is very expensive. Zofran pills may cost up to $50 dollars a day, with individuals pill costing anywhere between $12 and $20.

i will stick with phenargan, lol.

Congratulations!! A new little chickie!!

Both of my kids were concieved and due on the same day,2 years apart. LOL

I was due for both on March 13, Had one on the 8th and one on the 5th almost exactly 2 years apart.

Congratulations! You are so blessed.

I didn't have morning sickness, just a few days of queasiness. I did have horrible headaches and extreme exhaustion. That goes away toward the end of the first trimester. Then things get great (hopefully the morning sickness will be gone too!).

Enjoy your pregnancy. We tried for a year for our special little girl and since then no more.
