Ready or not!

Totally smitten over these girls! They recognize my voice as soon as I come in the room and waddle around to follow me as I clean their tub; especially little Betty here. Totally reminds me of that children's book "Are You My Momma?"

She is very intrigued with everything I do, and lets me hold her the longest without a fuss. I can tell she's going to be my little buddy in the yard. MY GOSH they are just too adorable

Love love. Precious. Cute. Adorable. Sweet. Little webs. Their faces. Angels.

How are we doing? Are things going smoothly?

Yes! Things are going great! I was a little worried about Bea, she seemed to be favoring one of her legs the other day, but today she's been running around like a little maniac and taking short breaks to rest, so I think she's on the mend. I've been putting niacin in their water to help keep those flipper feet strong. She had a major case of the zoomies yesterday. So cute!

Questions: When can I start giving them some greens/treats, and what are the best types to start with in your experience? Is a sprinkle of grit required for chopped greens too? I've started a garden in my yard with some duck-friendly veggies for when they are a little older, but I want to start them young so they will grow to enjoy them. Thanks in advance!

Shredded romaine once it's safe again. Some say their duckling like blue berries fresh I've never gave them to mine [too expensive] water melon is another fav. They need grit for anything non starter. I've given mine tops of radishes, shredded yellow squash, But mines biggest love is dried meal worms.
