I just noticed out last pip, was on the underside of the big end, not sure if it's new or I missed it before. All pip by the end of Day 20.

Hope to wake up in the morning to some new pets!

if you can sleep! I woke up every two hours and then at 4am both my kids stormed into the room "mom!!! Come out here NOW!" They had they're camping flashlights looking into the incubator watching the first hatch.

UPDATE: just found out said pip is upside down ( little end) peeled away som shell from the pip to give him some flexability in shell, and chipped away the shell from the air cell to monitor blood absorbsion blood is still very visable in the veins so I'm going to leave him be for a few hours, monitor him to make sure he's still chirping. So far so good. Going to be a pretty little thing.

nothing happening so far. Maybe when I come home from work something will have happened. I looked into the eggs before lockdown and saw movement in the polish eggs... I can't really see anything in my Cochin eggs... Maybe because they are so full?? I hope so.

You're probably right Dylon - most of mine were almost completely filled except the air cell. Not nearly as interesting to candle that last time.

Lockdown was yesterday.q I expect hatches starting tomorrow through Monday. In the end 36 chicken eggs and 24 quail!
