Ready to build our run but....

We’ve picked a spot for our quail run. The only thing I’m concerned about is that it’s about 3 ft away from our oleanders. They wouldn’t have access to them. Has anyone else built close to oleander?

Oleanders are poisonous to poultry. I'd advise against it.
