I have 10 pulletts at 9 weeks and 3 at 7 weeks. My older should be ready to switch to all flock, correct?

My question is: if I switch now, is it ok for the younger to be on all flock...or do I wait 2 weeks until the younger are at 9 weeks.

No. You do not feed layer feed to any chicken that isn't actively laying eggs. There's too much calcium in layer and not enough protein for chicks still growing.

You actually never need to start feeding layer. All flock feed has everything in it layers need and any chicken needs, even baby chicks. The only consideration is providing a calcium source for active layers. That would be oyster shell.

See? Easy and simple.

You can switch to a All-Flock/Flock Raiser Crumble.
I wouldn't switch to a mini Pellet till after 10 weeks, or a large Pellet till 16 weeks.

You mean All Flock correct.

I accidentally typed layer but meant flock. Your advice above is what I was tracking, just wanted to be sure. Thank you.
