Reality shows...

reality SHOWS? WHAT THE H E L L is that? Stuff like that was called camping or boy scouts. As an adult, in the US Army, it was called "Wilderness Survival Training"or "Warskills Improvement Training." Reality shows my arse!

my DH HATES that i watch reality shows. i always say 'o i don't watch that many' but then i start to list them out....

american idol
the real world on MTV
dog the bounty hunter (before he got yanked off the air)
real housewives of orange county

and all the various VH1 stuff. hogan knows best, scott baio, chris & adrianne, breaking bonaduce.

<-- i know i am a geek. but hey, with the tivo i'm saving time by skipping all the ads, so its really LESS tv now that i bought that.

trisha, why are you cancelling cable? do we need to buy more soap?!? i don't want u to have to do without.

I'm cancelling my cable because I have to cut back on spending. Cable is not something that I need to survive so it's gotta go.

I don't have another craft show until MARCH! I'm try to work at home without having to get a part timer. I think I'll be fine as long as I cut back on stuff I don't need.

Soap is on sale though.

i forgot about breaking bonaduce, that really was a GREAT show. horrifying to watch but you just couldn't help yourself.

i'm also watching kid nation, i find the socialogical aspects of it fascinating. i know a lot of it is scripted, but it's still neat to watch. (taylor needs a solid spanking, imho)

ever see the show "intervention"? that one is scary.
or "animal cops", i love these shows.

a few years ago there was a great show on public tv about frontier life or something like that.

i watch entirely too much crap tv, and i know it. but most of the time i'm listening more than watching. i have a small tv in my shop and i can only listen to talk radio or music so long before i need something else to listen to.

i grew up without tv, didn't really watch the boob tube until i was almost 20. i guess i'm making up for lost time?
