really cant wait for first egg!!!!!

4 rir's and 1 light sussex, all 25 weeks and still no eggs, lovely red combs and wattles, no egg song and no squatt!! they were not great lovers of the layers pellets so last week i changed them to layers mash!! They are all healthy and happy, just cant understand it, my husband laughs at me everyday when i tell him that we will get eggs soon!!

I definitely understand your anxiety. Our girls will be 26 weeks on Wednesday and out of 9 only four are laying. I know that sounds great, but three of them only started laying in the last week. Our first girl started laying at 18 1/2 weeks, and the next one started at 24 weeks. That was a LONG wait!!!

thanks LT for support and understanding, i know i have to be patient and that they will lay when they are ready, but it is so hard waiting for my first wee egg!!!
