Really Need your opinion

She does, kind of. She prefers my pekins but surprisingly they chase her away. Webster tried to mate her, but I don’t think it’s successful!

I am so so sorry to hear about your situation. I am mourning for the loss of your duck and for the one who will be passing soon. Just know there are many here today who have been in your shoes and are right beside you in this. If you want to keep having ducks maybe get another. So sorry again! :hugs

Thanks guys for your input, really appreciate it! We decided to add three more hens to our flock. We will be picking them up tomorrow and slowly introduce them to Lulu and Fatata.
Fatata is still doing good, she's starting to show signs it may be time to go. I feel it's more heartbreaking for Lulu to loss Fatata. Hopefully having some new mates will help LuLu cope with her loss.
Btw - that's Lulu in my profile pic ❤️
Happy Easter and have a great weekend!!

Lulu is such a pretty girl! I hope all goes well with introductions. In our experience girls have gotten along better with much less drama than when bringing in drakes.
Can't wait to see pics of the new flock members :) Happy Easter to you as well.

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this post. I sadly need to ask for help on a decision I need to make. About 9 years ago I rescued 3 ducks - one passed away last year and I found out this week my Fawn duck has pretty bad cancer throughout her belly. We have her on Meloxicam and Tramadol to keep her comfortable. The Veterinarian believes her time to be let go is sooner than later. When she passes, I'll have only one duck left 😢 I can't possibly keep her alone, she's been with her flock her entire life. She is older as well, pushing into the double digits. Her health is pretty good, she requires biannual hormone injections to stop producing eggs and has moderate arthritis.
Here is my dilemma...
When it's time euthinze my Fawn with cancer what do I do with my solo duck? What would you do in my situation?
Thanks everyone!
An older friend for your duck would be my suggestion as well.
