Really Sleepy Hen.

3 drops Polyvisol daily. Doesn't have to be by itself but from what I can ascertain, the stuff tastes like crud so I always give a tasty treat right after to take the bad taste away, like yummy blueberries. Of course, this is easier said than done if you have a bird that's not eating.

In and of itself unlikely to solve what ails her but hopefully will help strengthen her a bit while you try to figure out what's wrong.
This may well be a time is of the essence situation in terms of needing to sort out what's wrong - she looks pretty bad.

Oh my gosh I came on here hoping for answers. We have had four chickens in the last year, just for no reason get sleepy and after about three days die. I don't know what to do for them. I can't afford a vet. I will try the apple cider vinager. We are so worry. It is like they are on sleeping pills. The first was a rooster but he was really old so I did not think to much about it. That was about a year ago. Then just last month another Rooster go weak and was dead in a few days. Then a hen last week and now a new hen we just got is sleeping and not waking up until we are right on top of her.

I am worry sick I love my chickens. They are treated like babies. I have no ideal what to do to help them.

If the hen sadly dies, you can probably have a necropsy done very inexpensively (folks here may be able to help you figure out where) and then hopefully you'll know what you're dealing with so that others can be spared.

Also, provide if you can all info about your set up, their diets etc etc (see sticky at beginning of Emergencies section) so that folks here have more to go on in trying to help you - the more info the better.

You can do them daily for the next handful of days but as noted, they are not the fix here. It's just to try to buy you a little time in what is likely a medically urgent situation needing diagnosis and treatment. Must also keep her hydrated. Only if really lucky will this pass without additional intervention.
And again, a lot more info to help folks help you.
Hoping she will recover.
