I had a cat that did the same thing! It was so funny, he'd grab the blanket in his teeth and growl at it, and do his thing.

OMG, this is one of the funniest threads ever! (I can just imagine the rooster) Even better than when my friend Peggy got a call from her neighbor to tell her that her guineas were down on the highway, chasing cars. She went down there, and there they were hiding in the ditch, lurking. Just their little heads were poking up while they watched for cars, they they'd leap out, and run after the car, squawking and flapping, they go back and hide in the ditch again.

My male cockatiel goes at one of his toys ALL DAY long. It's embarassing when guests are over...depending on the guest...some people just think it's hilarious. It's pretty obvious what he's doing. We have an old video tape around somewhere with him and his toy, with Will Smith's "Getting Jiggy With It" playing in the background.

My poor female cockatiel puts her head down, wanting to be preened, when he's going at his toy. He doesn't want anything to do with her....He was already a few years old when we got her, so I guess he was stuck in his ways.

My female cockatiel does the naughty by herself as well, but at most once a day. Usually after she gets rejected by her male counterpart LOL

Most of the comments I thought of have already been said, so, sing this to the tune of Copacabana:

His name is Mr
Mr McNugget
he saw olive lying there
and he didn't mean to stare
but she was curvy
and almost perfect
he jumped on her for some love,
even though he preferred Dove.
and it was short and sweet
but a refreshing treat
He got done and shook off
oh life was just so sweet

In the coopa, the chicken coopa
The hottest spot north of Havana
At the coopa, the chicken coopa
lovin and passion were always the fashion
at the coopa, they fell in love

We had a male cat that had a thing for all blankets, mostly if there was a human leg underneath the blanket. Now, that's really NOT a great thing to wake up to.
