My son lived in Brookings and the Aberdeen so I hunted out there quite a bit.

Pheasants not deer. I did hunt deer In Wyoming once.

Cool! Ever hunt any ducks up here? It's pretty spectacular. That's neat! I've been to both of those places a number of times.
I've only hunted pheasants west river SD. It's so much better there than east river, imo. I've seen a lot of pheasants out here, we've just always been more into the ducks/geese. We shot 48 snow geese the other day, and over 100 just during fall. It's awesome, today was almost 40 degrees, no snow on the ground, and it's December! That's so unlike SD. But still awesome. And all of the birds have pushed down from up North so we're getting some really nice plumaged ducks. Water has been freezing up a lot more now though.
Ooh, Wyoming is awesome.
