reasonably priced coops for a

Recommended minimum space for a back yard flock: 4 s.f. in coop and 10 s.f. in run. I don't know how cold it gets in your area, but with winter on the way, skimping on space may very well result in behavioral issues including aggression, feather picking, and possibly leading up to blood shed and cannibalism.

I suggest that you look into the option of building a cattle panel coop. You can easily build a 8 x 8 walk in style coop, frame in both ends. Add a couple of windows, cover the whole thing with chicken wire, including a skirt, then cover the CP with a tarp. CP coops lend themselves nicely to DL management. This will save additional $$$.

If you can't provide the needed space, the next option would be flock reduction.

@chickenreyna that is the exact coop I bought a few weeks ago for 4 chickens. My chickens are doing ok in it, but really need more run room. We just added on to it with some lattice we found around the property. But, will expand it more in the future. If the 4 had to spend a lot of time in the coop due to weather - they might not be as happy with it. 4 would be the max with this coop - unless you had the bantam size. It is actually on sale this week until the 5th.
In this forum there is a post call “feathever” home or something like that. They modded two prefabs together. It might be a solution for you.

I am not sure how long these prefabs hold up, but you will definitely need to paint or water seal them as they will not stand up to the weather as is. We are planning on building a better coop in the spring when we have more time and the weather is more cooperative.

This should give you an idea of the size of the coop. This was before we added stuff to it (like a hardware apron and a run extension) But, you can see the 3 girls there in the left corner (the other one was up in the coop exploring).
They all sleep well in the coop huddled on one side. If they only had to use the coop to sleep, you could probably squeeze one or two more in, but it would probabaly lead to problems (pecking order and such). I close off the nesting area at night so that they aren’t soiling it (from the top door over to the left). Maybe some day I will convince my husband that we need to convert that shed back there to a chicken coop! :lau

Aleco has some alright coops. The styles change sometimes, but they might have something. I don't want to pry, but what kind of budget are you working with?
Did you see this post below?
Gosh 100 or so..:/ they have one brand new at tractor supply store for 240 but i wish i could find one like it used for around hundred... Does anyone know if places like atwoods etc ever put coops on sale since winter is approaching?

I might just try building one get supplies from lumber yard would be cheaper and could make the size more appropriate just building one? I live in Oklahoma it can be 70 one day early in morning and 40's by 3pm right now... So kinda difficult to answer the weather related question.. But all my birds except the little jap molted banty roo has been a soldier. His little comb is a bit discolored but he doesnt seem sick but the rest are easter eggers and sexlinks one barred rock and one orphington. They dont peck on him so i think he gets cold? i apply stuff on his comb and wattles when it is cold, too.
