Reasons for not sharing your flock

People who have SOP quality breeder stock and have their own breeding program but choose not to offer hatching eggs, chicks, and chickens to the public, at least regularly. What's your reason?

Sometimes dealing with the public is more of a hassle than worthwhile.

You have a beautiful rainbow of eggs. I believe the hassle may be one reason. Another is they are concerned that some will not stay true to the breeds maybe.
