Rebound coccidiosis treatment required please!

Lincomycin , I can get from my friend , she has that for her pigeons. Injections 300 mg. Vet prescribed her for some infection her pigeons were facing. Now all are doing well.

I have Trizole tablet s too.
Mostly used frf pigeons. For canker , intestinal infection and coccidiosis. It contains
Diclazuril 5mg
Ronidazole 25mg
Secnedazole 25 mg.

Tylosin I have this powder with other antibiotics. Not as a single salt. Can I use this?

Previously I had Aseel chicken s and none of them have ever shown any symptoms related to intestinal track issues. They lived with us for more than 10 years. At the end one died of heart attack and the other one had egg related issue.

I say start by giving the amprolium orally. Give 0.25 ml per kg orally twice a day.

If it is coccidia and you’re getting repeated outbreaks the probability is they’re picking it up from the ground and not the feeders, or water containers.
I don’t think you can continue with a constant round of treating medically; you need to either completely change the location of your coop and run, if you have one, or deal with the coccidia in the ground.
The easiest way to do this is to dig the ground over. You don’t need to dig very deep but you do need to make a thorough job of it.
Next soak the ground in a highly flammable liquid and let the liquid soak in. Finally set light to the ground. If you’ve made a decent job of it the fire will kill the coccidia.
When I’ve done this I’ve added ‘compost’ and/or new soil from another area and mixed it in with the burnt soil. It only takes a few weeks with the help of occasional watering for the soil to recover.
You can then if you wish try returning your coop and run to it’s original place.

This will treat coccidiosis and enteritis.

By the way do chickens lay eggs in coccidiosis or enteritis?

She is in doors currently. I have washed all clothes and stuff with hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. I have tiles all around. Indoors.


She has lost some of her weigh. Will take her out in sunlight. By tomorrow . As today it was raining outside.
