Hi Lovemychicks... I don't care what color mine are- just would be sad to have to get rid of a roo. We have grown very attached to them. I am sure I am just "first- time- chicken- keeper" paranoid! I can't imagine not having chickens now....(polka dot might be kind of cool, lol.)

My girls actually have changed quite a bit since those 5 week pics. They are now a really nice darker red-tint brown with white here and there. I don't have a recent pic that reflects this though b/c in the sun they're lighter lol...

It looked JUST Like my RSL pullet at 5 weeks...now that mine is 8 weeks she is almost all white except in the chest area.
