To let you all know her and her DH are still alive. They survived the first round of tornado's in Oklahoma on May 10th. They lost electricity for 3 days they still don't have the internet and it's driving her crazy. LOL

The storms on 5/19 set a tornado down a mile from their home and there were tree's down all over. Her DH had to have surgery on 5/19 and she asks for your prayers. As soon as the internet is up again she will be reading with eager relish about all the quilt projects. And that's per Nanakat.

Thanks Ginbart for posting my note.
We got our internet back up TODAY and I've just finished reading all our backed up email and am now reading thru all the BYC news.
I've truly missed the BYC family!!!!
Now on to the quilts!

Boy that was fast, I just received your lettler today.

Hi Nanacat-glad to see that you & DH survived the wild weather and are safe! Hope his surgery goes well. Will be sending you a pic of my quilt in-progress with the squares you sent me real soon, I promise!!!!

Thank you Ginbart. I now understand all the frustration you had with your internet connections a while back. Two weeks without it is a killer!!

Alabama, Thank you for asking. The surgery went well and he is now able to breathe with the trach tube corked (has to be so he can talk). DH has really had a rough two years...five surgeries and he has lived beyond the projected dates.

I would love to see the progress you have made on your quilt. It's really a treat to see creation in action.

It's a funny thing the things you can't live without like the internet. LOL I was talking to Acre's today, her and her family came up to visit a couple of weeks ago and we made Pop Corn. The Popper I got at TSC and was on clearance for $9.99. So Acre's just had to have one.

She's trying to keep up with the Bart's.

So today she said they had Pop Corn for lunch and said she loves that popper and how did they ever live without it.

I said I know, I know. LOL

But on a different note, I'm so glad your DH is going good and prayers are being said for him.

Yes, Nana.....sure am glad to heat that you all are o.k. and that the surgery went well. Also, I am soooooosld ginbart had the popper or I wouldn't be eating popcorn for lunch. Its actually very filling and good, doesn't weigh heavy on you on a {{{hot}}} day.
