If you can spot the weaker ones put them in a small box by themselves to get a chance to get stronger....I always do this and in a couple of days they do okay usually. ~Charm1704
I'm cooking some hard boiled eggs for them right now because I have at least one that is still pretty weak. She is quite a bit smaller than the others as well. Funny that all the packing peanuts are thriving! They definitely are more active then they were this morning though! I have chick fever and kind of want to order more black Cochins because they are so cute! They are super sweet chicks too. Don't mind being held at all! The weak one had a little pasty butt so I cleaned her up and put a little olive oil on her bottom. This has worked wonders in the past for my chicks.
Those top 2 look like the black australorps that i just picked up.If they are they should be great egg producers.
P.S. I'm a new member and this is my first post, but I used this site for several years with my first batch of chicks and
I appreciate everyones knowledge and helpfulness here.
