Recently started hatching eggs after years of keeping chickens

I am considering it now. Does it needs lots of sun to charge? My coop is facing north and only has sun for around 2h a day.

Hmm. I do not think it need lots of sun, living is Washington it is cloudy all day sometimes and they always work…...

I use solar lighting at night. My place is lit up like an airport runway! Ha! BUT....I do not have the nightime critters prowling. Too much lighting.
