Thought I'd share this good old-fashioned recipe. The story is that in the Colonial days, a woman who baked this cake could find herself a man.
It's like a coffeecake. A nice simple cake that uses basic pantry ingredients - just like in the old days.
We enjoy it anytime, warm or cold.

Cake:
1 cup sugar (can add more or less according to the sweetness of berries)
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
2 eggs
3 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen) (If small, I use more)
Topping:
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 - 2 tsp. cinnamon
Set oven to 350 degree. In a mixing bowl, combine all the cake ingredients except blueberries. Pour batter into a 9 X 13 inch baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Place blueberries evenly over batter. Mix the sugar and cinnamon for topping and sprinkle over the blueberries.
Bake for about 45 - 50 minutes or until it test done with a toothpick.
