I have one Buff duck left from a batch last year. We are going to get her some more company in about 2 weeks. The ones we've had have been medium size ducks - Buff and Cayuga. Each duck, like each chicken, is different, so when I say our Cayuga was the friendliest, it may not be the same for everyone. I found the Buffs to be a little skittish.

It's a girl , and those are ruins is the reason . She actually pretty big for a female mallard . But small for a Cayuga I guess .

You guys are confusing. LOL Ruins = Rouens. The markings are just like mallards, so there may be some confusion there as well. True mallards are very small (compared to say Pekins), there are quite a few "breed" ducks that have mallard-like markings.
