Recommendations for egg scale

Does anyone have recommendations on a scale to weigh eggs? (I would primarily be using it to grade eggs for my own use and wasn’t sure where to post this question.) While I love the look of the vintage type scales, not sure they’re all that dependable or accurate. Was wondering what others have experienced as I couldn’t really find a thread dealing with this when I searched.

Yeah, I got mine from there too and it works great! I place a little tiny ring bowl or dish on it and then zero it out to get the size weight. I do this to hold the egg in place...

I had been leaning towards one of the “vintage” ones, just because I liked the way they looked, but digital sounds much more accurate and more dependable. And I could use it in the kitchen, no less. Glad to hear 2 positive suggestions.

I always look at cost, easy care and cleaning if I broke an egg by chance, storage and accurate weights.... Remember if you are selling eggs you need to clean things before washing or weighing and after. Just some thoughts!

Good advice! Just using for personal record keeping as not selling eggs but these are great points you make. I hadn’t thought about cleaning in case of a broken egg but that’s definitely going to be on the top of my requirements now.

I sell lots and lots of eggs and I know I have broken my fare share on the scale.
