Recommended layer breeds for 2022?

I might think more on the Barred Rocks because we've always gotten rotten, mean ones every time so I'm not sure I'd love to get more. I even tried breeder ones thinking the temperament might be better but still ended up with rotten ones.

Splash laced red Wyandottes maybe? They’re good egg layers and are absolutely gorgeous. Or maybe some other type of Orpington (lavender,jubilee,crele, etc.) and lastly, Isabella leghorns are good layers and pretty nicely colored.

My smokey pearl (TSC ) and my leghorns are pretty reliable layers both nice white . There sre other sex links in other colors too.
