Recommended leg band for adult ducks?

I band and keep track mostly for breeding purposes. So when they get penned or separated for breeding, I know who was with who and what they produced. Even with a small flock, with lots going on in life its easy to forget!

Yep! Plus stuff like my Buffs who I honestly can't 100% tell apart. Both have gone broody, but one has quit 2/3 of the way through TWICE now! I definitely don't want to let her go broody again unless another duck is broody too and will let her "share" their nest. But I don't want to mistakenly break the "good" Buff if she goes broody because I think she's the other one.

Is there any need to know when putting zip ties on ducks, I have 3 and they are going to a buddy’s temporarily so I want to be able to get my spoiled ducks back. Of course not putting them to tight, but do they tighten after or is there a placement I need to be sure of.

I put zip ties on my hens so I can keep up with who I have wormed since some of mine look identical. I just make sure the tie slides up and down the leg and it doesn’t go over the back toe so it doesn’t get stuck.
