Recommended quiet/friendly breeds

I have to add to the votes for Orpingtons, Marans, and I will add Langshans, Polish, and Russian Orloff. I have 4 Orpingtons and none of them make noise except one right before she lays. Most of the time I forget they are in the flock they’re so quiet! My two Wyandotte girls are really quiet except when it’s time to lay and then they are LOUD

My noisiest hens as a whole though are my salmon Faverolle, Ameraucanas, silkies, and d’Uccles

Picture of my Splash Ameraucana. Don't get a polish they are so damn loud and very nervous chickens. The Splash is like a like a puppy, always wants to be picked up.
