Hi!Ok so I have four chickens, two standards and two bantams. The coop I have right now is about 4'x2' and that just dosent seem like enough room.I want to make a new coop from somthing like a dresser or other furniture.Any ideas?

Check out all the pallet coops.

Also - somewhere there is a thread with an article about 'ugly coops' that actually has many repurposed items such as a washing machine.

I do not know how it would be possible to make a coop out of a single piece of furniture but if you found enough pieces of furniture you could use the wood from them to make a coop. If you could find unwanted kitchen cabinets or something like that you could put a few together and make a coop out of those. You could take a table and add sides onto it. That would make a coop.
Here is the link to the "ugly coops" thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/394207/lets-see-the-ugly-coops-plz

You can usually get pallets from CL for a few bucks each, sometimes free. A 4x4 pallet coop, though small, would be much more appropriate for 4 birds and is double the size you have now. You should give one a try!
