Red and black?

Is it genetically possible to have a chicken that is red and black? I mean truly red and black, like a barred bird with those colors, or black with red lacing. Something like that. Or are black and red both genetically dominate?
NYReds says this too <"How about the obvious- Rhode Island Red"

yes a good example for sure Black-tailed Red

And how could one forget the originator of all the whole color spectrum of the chicken world the original black and red pattern, the Red Jungle Fowl=Black-breasted Red

Non blue or splash versions of the Blue laced red Wyandottes. Their feathers would be red laced with black.

All chickens have both red and black pigment available. Neither of these pigments is dominant to the other; each goes to "it's own space" which depends on the specific genes carried by an individual bird. Dominance is more often misunderstood than understood.
