Yes, it should be applied wherever there's redness. It will heal the skin and prevent picking. Urates scald skin, think of it as a scald. That's what Nu-Stock treats. It is NOT anything like Blu-Kote. It will also prevent your hen from picking her own feathers and fluff.

11 birds, 3 cups is abit much scratch. 1½ - 2 should be fine with 11 birds.

1 cup of mealworms is fine, if not given too frequently. Same with the scratch.

Ok, I will cut back on the scratch amount. Is everyday still ok?

How can I make the Urates not scald her? And why would her Urates be scalding just her when they all eat the same things and sleep on the same roost bar? I’m so confused. Is there a way to neutralize it?

The coop and roost bars are very well cleaned. I just don’t know where she would be just laying around in chicken poop.

Have you tried something like Neosporin? The antibiotic part might help her. Or maybe oral antibiotics? Especially if it’s hot like that. Sounds like it could be infected maybe.
