Red belly patch?

Ok, that makes sense. My hens sleep everywhere! On the flat part of the coop roof, on the peak of the coop roof, in the nesting boxes, and in the middle of the coop(it's a small portable coop so that part is basically a metal tray with shavings on it). The other one has no such mark. What should I do to treat it/prevent it?

I don't think that's a 'blister'.

Make some roosts they'll use?

I have two. The coop is like a box with a peak, see my profile photo. It has two nest boxes. There is a ramp and then a small run underneath the actual coop, and we built a big run for them with chicken wire. There isn't really space inside the coop....There were roosts but this coop isn't good quality and they kept coming out of their slots. I could maybe drill them in but i hate to put holes in my coop. Any ideas?
