6 of my 7 hens look like this. Feathers falling out and red skin - mostly neck and butt but also the breast on two of them look a little bloated. Any ideas what this is and treatment?

Are they molting or being feather-picked? The vent area is a common area for chickens to feather pick, and that can lead to cannibalism. The crop in the grey one looked enlarged. Do they have plenty of room in the coop, and do they get outside to free range? I would check the crop early in the morning at daylight before they have eaten or drunk anything, and check to see it the crop is empty. If it is full and hard, doughy, or puffy after sleeping all night without food and water, their may be a crop disorder. They can peck at their own crops if the crop is impacted.

They have room. Not a ton because it’s winter and it’s snowy. They have been cooped up a while due to predators but they have a 10x3 covered run. I really am not sure if it’s feather picking.
Here is a photo I took tonight. Is this egg bound?

Have they molted recently? How old are they? That looks pretty severe. Some are missing most of their feathers. What are you feeding, and how much protein? I think overcrowding and not getting out side may be the problem. Can you watch to see if all are feather picking or just one? They need things to occupy them, to jump on, and probably more room.
