We went to the broader this morning and noticed one poo that has red blood. We checked each chick and see no visible problems. They all have full, soft crops. One is less soft that the others, but she is eating and drinking. Any ideas or thoughts? We've been lucky and knock on wood have never had any illness or injury with chickens, as we are almost a year into owning chickens.

Should I let the breeder know? She just sold us to the 2 days ago, and thankfully we used our judgement to keep separate from our current flock

I use liquid from my vet but I’m not sure what the difference is. Also, yes I would inform the breeder. It’s obvious they didn’t get it from your place.

Running to TSC now. Thanks everyone!!!! Powder form ok?
Instructions will likely tell you to mix it in their water. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. Make sure the chicken who is a little less peppy drinks—if she has stopped drinking by herself, you may need to get a dropper and force her to.
