Red Golden and Lady Amherst Pheasants

Hi--Do you need to keep them enclosed? I know ringnecks will leave and not come back, but I wasn't sure how these pheasants would do on a fenced in one acre area. I keep peafowl and guineas like this, and they don't go far at all.

Yes they need a covered pen or they will fly.You need to seperate each breed to as they will cross breed.We don't need any more cross breeds in the gene pool.
