Red/irritated neck

My hen started molting around her neck in the fall and then I had a rooster that was overmating her and continued plucking out her neck feathers (I no longer have this rooster).

I’ve noticed her feathers starting to come back in for the past couple weeks. Today I noticed this bright red spot on her neck.

Could this just be irritation from feather growth? I haven’t seen any other hens pecking at her but can’t rule that out completely. Any ideas what this could be or how to help?

That looks like she's being plucked. I would try to quietly observe your flock to see if you can tell when and where. You can also try a no pick spray to deter whoever is doing it.
