Red Jungle Fowl - 10 newly hatched

Hello all. It's been a while since I've been back on here. Backyard life has been really busy and have not had the time to jump back on here lately. I have some red jungle fowls as well. They are mostly Indian Red Jungle fowl. I have two that are Asian RJF. From my 5 years of raising RJF, I can say that they are more delicate than your average chicken. They need lots of attention and do not tolerate severe weather well. during the cold months, I have to keep heat lamps on the chicks and insulate the coop for the adults. Food and water must be clean or they will get sick easily. My flock seems to do better when I include mealworms and redworms to diet. Also, they get bored really easily so make sure they have plenty of room to play in (flight pen). Hope everything turned out well for your chicks and welcome (I'm a bit late) to the flock.
