Red Jungle Fowl?

Hello. My rooster is called "His Majesty" but we have never know'n what breed he is. Any guesses?

I don't think he's a Red Jungle, they leg coloring doesn't match,hmmm..not really sure what he could be. Kind of looks like a Brown Leghorn Rooster, but he doesn't have the white ear lobes. I know I am not helping you at all! Sorry! lol I can see why you call him, His Majesty-very pretty!

Forgot to add, I am not sure if I have the name right, but I think they are called Black copper Marans, I think he might resemble that, maybe someone on here will know more! It drives us crazy not knowing exactly what we have, trust me, I have been there and lost sleep over it!

Not a Marans, they don't have yellow legs. Looks more like a Welsummer to me.

Looks a little big to be a Jungle Fowl, and the leg colour's wrong. Jungles have grey legs and have a stance more like a OEGB. I would definitely agree with the Welsummer thing; heavy build, yellow legs, and, well, he looks like the Kellogg's rooster. Haha. The picture below isn't great, but it's a Welsummer rooster and hens I bought my grandfather; looks a lot alike to me.

Thankyou all for your replies. I googled Wellsummer and clicked images and I think we struck gold. Here is a short video link of one.

I am going to change his name to Houdini as when something slightly disturbing happens he magically disappears leaving a few feathers and some bewildered hens.
