Did anyone have any experience (good or not so good) raising Red Jungle Fowls? Are they an easy breed to handle given that they have an inherent "wild" side to their characteristics? I have raised only one hen from a chick and now she is one year old and she is very tame although at times she does show her wild personality.
We have a rooster and a hen. They are free range in a big open area backed by Georgia woods. They lay nice big light brown eggs. Hen is a nice broody mama. Hatched 6 of her own chicks this year. Rooster is not viscious and he is beautiful.Did anyone have any experience (good or not so good) raising Red Jungle Fowls?
