So I found myself a little less excited about using my H2S... Mostly because of the AMS and dealing with managing the filament, especially any that is even a TINY bit brittle.
I've already had a few scares and problems where I had to dismantle things to pull out tiny broken pieces of filament in the AMS.
Fortunately, I've got it working, but again, it makes me less excited to dive in and print stuff.
That being the case, I finally decided to just open up the A1 Mini that I bought on sale for Black Friday and never ended up opening or returning. I think I might be happy printing again.
I basically pulled my Ender-3 V3 SE off of the IKEA cabinet next to my desk in my office and put the A1 Mini there. Dang this thing is so effing tiny and cute!!
I'm realizing that 99% of the time I'm doing single color printing, and even if I do need to swap colors at a layer, it's super easy with this printer. Also, I'd say about 85% of the stuff I print will fit on the A1 mini bed. It's also way easier to manage and unclog if I get any filament breaks or jams.
There are definitely parts of me that feel a little uncomfortable having a big, huge expensive monster printer in one room that I don't use very much, and then a tiny printer in this room that I'm using all the time.
